The Lodge at E. Rivers | Ongoing

The Lodge at E. Rivers is a significant part of the neighborhood’s history. Designed by Carrère & Hastings, the firm associated with the design of Peachtree Heights Park, the Lodge originally served as the sales office for the new development and as a gateway to Peachtree Battle Avenue.

Owned by Atlanta Public Schools, the Lodge is now home to Buckhead Heritage https://buckheadheritage.com whose mission focuses on historic preservation in Buckhead. Buckhead Heritage is restoring the building, while the Peachtree Battle Alliance and Peachtree Battle Alliance Neighborhood Improvement, Inc. have committed to restoring the surrounding grounds and hardscape, which are currently in a dangerous state of disrepair.

Together, these efforts will help preserve an important historic property while restoring a prominent neighborhood gateway for future generations.
